This year Crohn's and Colitis UK will be holding its first Summer Camp. We have 30 places available for young people, aged between 14 and 17, who have IBD. Held at Rock UK, the weekend will give you the opportunity to meet other young people with IBD.
Can you attend?
To be eligible, you must:
be between 14 and 17 years oldhave IBDhave a parent who is a member of Crohn's and Colitis UK, or be a member in your own right.

Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basisThere will be a charge of £20 per person, payable once a place has been confirmedYou will need to make your own travel arrangements to and from the venue, and will be expected to meet your own travel costsIn certain circumstances Crohn's and Colitis UK may be able to help with travel costs - please contact elliot.james@crohnsandcolitis.org.uk to discussMeals will be providedAccommodation will be provided, and will consist of a shared room with en suite facilities. Additional toilet facilities are available nearbyParticipants will be expected to arrive on Friday afternoon after 4pm and leave after lunch on SundayCrohn’s and Colitis UK does not accept responsibility for the property and valuables of participants, and attendees are advised to take out personal effects insurance

ReplyDeleteVicky, have a look at the dates and venues for the Me & IBD weekends happening around the UK. It might not look as much fun but I'm sure you would find it useful, and its a good chance to meet like minded young adults that suffer with the condition. Have a look and see what you think.
