I have suffered severe Crohn's since 2007. It affects my life every minute of every day and I want to help find a cure so no one else has to go through it.
Along with my brother and two best mates we wanted to find a challenge that would be near impossible as a nod to how impossible it is to live with Crohn’s.
We decided to drive across Europe in the Great Rally covering 10 countries in seven days.
We wanted to raise as much awareness and sponsorship as possible so developed a website and social media strategy which included sending a press pack to all local media.

We also sent over 1,000 emails to CEOs around the world seeking sponsorship. £2,000 worth of goods were donated for our raffle and a car was donated by CSL Furniture.
We smashed our fundraising target, raising more than £9,000 and managed to drive through 12 countries in seven days!
My top fundraising tip is to utilise the internet and social media. 80% of our donations came from social media chatter and our website.
