About Us

Me and IBD has been set up by the national patient charity Crohn's and Colitis UK as part of its 2013 campaign, focusing on young  people (aged around 16-29) with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD: Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis).

As well as a survey of its members, which has now closed, there is a dedicated microsite for young people to visit for more information and support. 

The site is packed with videos, stories, information and news - the kind of stuff that's really useful for young people who have just been diagnosed with Crohn's or Colitis, or those who are still coming to terms with living with IBD.

-Crohn's and Colitis UK has 30,400 members across the United Kingdom
-There are 70 Crohn's and Colitis UK Groups around the country, arranging educational and support meetings, publicity and fundraising. Each Group is supported by a Medical Adviser
-Membership is open to people who have Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn’s Disease, their families and friends, health professionals and anyone interested in supporting the work of the Association
